Parte a Castelsardo il Genera festival: riconoscimenti a Edoardo Raspelli e Simona Tedesco. Focus sul turismo, trasporti ed enogastronomia Giornalismo, enogastronomia e turismo: ha preso il via a Castelsardo l’edizione 2023 del “Genera Festival”. Il primo appuntamento ha visto confrontarsi diversi punti di vista sulla stagione turistica tutt’ora in corso durante la tavola rotonda “Analisi delle performance della stagione turistica 2023” A parlarne, nella sala XI del Castello dei Doria, sono stati esponenti politici e imprenditoriali, che hanno confrontato i dati nazionali con quelli regionali. Moderato dai giornalisti Pasquale Alfieri e Simona Tedesco, l’incontro ha messo in luce diversi aspetti riguardanti non solo il turismo ma le strategie politiche da affrontare per far sì che la Sardegna diventi una meta sempre più appettibile. “Una stagione altalenante, segnata dal caro-prezzi e caro-carburanti. C’è stata una lieve flessione da parte degli italiani; è un fenomeno complesso da analizzare – ha spiegato il sindaco di Castelsardo Antonio Maria Capula – poiché entrano in gioco aspetti quali la destagionalizzazione e il cambio delle abitudini riguardo le vacanze”. “I numeri sono neutri e dalla loro analisi possono scaturire riflessioni ragionate – ha affermato l’Assessore Regionale ai Trasporti Antonio Moro –; durante la stagione “Summer”, quella che va da aprile ad ottobre, abbiamo registrato 9 milioni e mezzo di posti aereo occupati. 233 collegamenti aerei. 144 voli internazioni che hanno interessato 25 Paesi. Numeri mai visti in Sardegna. Nei due mesi di punta, il traffico totale è stato di 5.000.401 presenze, non sono mai arrivati così tanti passeggeri nei porti e negli aeroporti in Sardegna. È stato un record”.
“Noi viviamo diverse problematiche, tra cui caro-traghetti caro-aerei – ha spiegato poi la deputata Francesca Ghirra, di Alleanza Verde Sinistra, componente della Commissione Trasporti della Camera dei Deputati –. Chi non trova prezzi accessibili sceglie altre mete, più facilmente raggiungibili via terra. Il tema dell’insularità sta prendendo piede anche nelle sale parlamentari. Gli strumenti presenti attualmente non sono sufficienti a gestire questi deficit. La Commissione Trasporti sta portando avanti un’indagine conoscitiva verso la mobilità 2030 che sonda proprio le tematiche legate ai trasporti. Dobbiamo migliorare in merito alla sostenibilità ambientale poiché la Sardegna può sfruttare trasporti alternativi, come piste ciclo pedonali e percorsi immersivi nella natura ad opera del trenino verde. La mancanza di una continuità territoriale a prezzi calmierati incide non solo su chi si deve muovere per turismo, ma anche su chi deve viaggiare per altri motivi, legati alla salute. Il ruolo della politica è proprio quello di trovare una mediazione”.
“La Federalberghi Sassari, che rappresento – ha sottolineato il Presidente della Camera di Commercio di Sassari Stefano Visconti – analizza i numeri che vengono inviati dagli albergatori. Seppur con perdite meno consistenti rispetto al resto d’Italia, qui ci sono state delle inflessioni rispetto al 2022. Il mese peggiore è stato agosto. Ciò che ha preoccupato maggiormente è stato il calo medio della qualità dell’ospite, con meno denaro in tasca, che ha comportato l’ingresso di meno risorse alle strutture. È stata una stagione non esaltante e poco soddisfacente. Il soggiorno medio non arriva a quattro giorni, è cambiata la propensione di consumo del prodotto alberghiero: si ripiega su strutture alternative”.
“Come porto di Castelsardo abbiamo registrato un aumento rispetto al 2021 del 6,4 e una diminuzione del 9,6 rispetto al 2022 – ha evidenziato Matteo Santoni, amministratore delegato della Ge.cas. –. La fascia media si sta riducendo progressivamente. Le tariffe sono state aumentate per sopperire al rincaro energetico. I nostri dati non entrano nel database, invece sarebbe oppurtono puntare l’attenzione sull’analisi di questi dati”.
“Come Grimaldi abbiamo registrato dei numeri superiori al 2022 – ha affermato Eugenio Cossu, amministratore delegato di Grimaldi Sardegna –. Le nostre navi stanno viaggiando piene, è difficile trovare un posto in cabina. Credo che la gestione delle linee legate alla continuità territoriale non possa essere lasciata soltanto allo Stato, ma che sia necessario l’intervento della Regione”. La serata è proseguita con l’assegnazione dei primi due premi in programma per il Premio giornalistico della Sardegna – città di Castelsardo. Ad Edoardo Raspelli, volto noto della tv in programmi come “Melaverde” e “Eat parade” è andato il premio per il giornalismo enogastronomico. “Sono molto orgoglioso di una piccola rubrica su Rai 3 che va in onda la domenica mattina, in cui racconto l’accessibilità. Un modo diverso di raccontare la solita mangiata”, ha detto Raspelli, aggiungendo “Ho pagato una consistente polizza per essere assicurato per 500 mila euro sul mio palato, su gusto e olfatto. Sono più vanitoso che mangione!” A Simona Tedesco, direttrice di Dove, mensile dedicato ai viaggi e al turismo del Corriere della Sera, è andato il premio “Viaggi e Turismo”. “A noi piace pensare che i viaggi siano raccontati dalle persone che cercano storie, e che gli incontri, nei viaggi, facciano la differenza. Riuscire a tradurre le emozioni in parole è l’elemento più importante nel giornalismo, e non importa dove vadano a finire queste parole, ciò che è importante è che le parole siano dotate di senso. Questo è il giornalismo che ha un futuro”.
Uno spazio è stato dedicato anche alle tradizioni culinarie della cittadina di Castelsardo, con l’assegnazione del premio “Alfiere della cucina sarda”, andato a Pierina Capula. Cuoca dall’esperienza decennale, lavora nel ristorante Fofò, operativo dal 1958. “Facevo l’infermiera, quando sono entrata in cucina per la prima volta non sapevo fare niente, ma piano piano ho imparato. Il piatto più buono che so fare? L’aragosta e gli spaghetti al nero di seppia”.
Gli interventi musicali, molto apprezzati, sono stati a cura della Confraternita Oratorio di Santa Croce di Castelsardo, che ha eseguito tre brani. Domani, sempre nella stessa location, si darà spazio ai giovani studenti partecipanti ai laboratori di giornalismo “Genera Press”. Il concetto di “#generatività” – tema dell’edizione 2023 – sarà sviscerato parlando di ricollocazione di spazi, come nel caso delle miniere di Sos Enattos di Lula, candidate ad ospitare l’Einstein Telescope, e di creazioni innovative, con la presentazione della startup Relicta, ideatrice di un materiale bioplastico idrosolubile. Ospite della serata il Collettivo letterario informale e performativo Clip. Verrà assegnato anche un riconoscimento nella sezione “Castellanesi nel mondo”.

A space was also dedicated to the culinary traditions of the town of Castelsardo, with the awarding of the “Standard of Sardinian cuisine” award, which went to Pierina Capula. Experienced cook
for ten years, she works in the Fofò restaurant, which has been operating since 1958. “I was a nurse when I joined cooking for the first time I didn’t know how to do anything, but little by little I learned. The best dish ever I can do? Lobster and spaghetti with cuttlefish ink”. The musical performances, much appreciated, were organized by the Confraternita Oratorio di Santa Croce of Castelsardo, who performed three songs. Tomorrow, always in the same location, space will be given to the young students participating in the workshops “Genera Press” journalism.
