Genera Festival 2024: Giornata del 5 settembre – Alghero
Il 5 settembre, il Genera Festival si aprirà con un evento dedicato a Grazia Deledda e il cibo, un’affascinante esplorazione dei legami tra la tradizione culinaria sarda e la letteratura della celebre autrice. La presentazione del libro “Grazia Deledda e il cibo” (Arkadia, 2024) sarà curata dagli autori Giovanni Fancello e Sara Chessa, che guideranno il pubblico in un viaggio tra sapori e parole, ripercorrendo, con dovizia di citazioni e rimandi, le vicende “culinarie” presenti nella vasta produzione letteraria di Grazia Deledda, ma non solo.
A seguire, si terrà un laboratorio dedicato alla nascita della Rai, un’occasione per approfondire la storia e l’evoluzione della radiotelevisione italiana. A questo incontro parteciperanno Michelangelo Cardellicchio e Gianni Garrucciu, due figure di rilievo nel panorama giornalistico e culturale.
Nel corso della giornata, Roberta Lippi, autrice e giornalista, presenterà il suo libro “Love Bombing. Il codice segreto della manipolazione” (Rizzoli, 2024) ispirato all’omonimo podcast. Lippi, nota per il suo lavoro su temi complessi come la manipolazione emotiva nelle relazioni, condividerà le sue riflessioni con il pubblico, arricchendo il dibattito con le sue esperienze nel mondo dei media.
La giornata si concluderà con la presentazione del libro “Domani è un altro mondo. Dieci domande per la Sardegna che verrà” (Il Maestrale, 2024) scritto a quattro mani da Bachisio Bandinu e Matteo Porru. Questo evento sarà un importante momento di riflessione sul futuro della Sardegna, con due generazioni a confronto che discuteranno insieme le sfide e le opportunità dell’isola.
Il Festival sarà animato dai giovani giornalisti in erba, i “generini”, che avranno numerose opportunità di apprendimento e di interazione con i giornalisti e gli autori.

Genera Festival 2024: Day of September 5 – Alghero
On Sept. 5, the Genera Festival will open with an event dedicated to Grazia Deledda and food, a fascinating exploration of the links between the Sardinian culinary tradition and the famous author’s literature. The presentation of the book “Grazia Deledda and Food” (Arkadia, 2024) will be curated by authors Giovanni Fancello and Sara Chessa, who will guide the audience on a journey between flavors and words, retracing, with an abundance of quotations and references, the “culinary” events present in Grazia Deledda’s vast literary production, but not only.
This will be followed by a workshop dedicated to the birth of Rai, an opportunity to delve into the history and evolution of Italian radio and television. Michelangelo Cardellicchio and Gianni Garrucciu, two prominent figures in journalism and culture, will participate in this meeting.
During the day, Roberta Lippi, author and journalist, will present her book “Love Bombing. The Secret Code of Manipulation” (Rizzoli, 2024) inspired by the podcast of the same name. Lippi, known for her work on complex issues such as emotional manipulation in relationships, will share her reflections with the audience, enriching the discussion with her experiences in the media world.
The day will conclude with the presentation of the book “Tomorrow is Another World. Ten questions for the Sardinia to come” (Il Maestrale, 2024) written by Bachisio Bandinu and Matteo Porru in four hands. This event will be an important moment of reflection on the future of Sardinia, with two generations comparing who will discuss together the challenges and opportunities of the island.
The Festival will be animated by budding young journalists, the “generini,” who will have numerous opportunities to learn and interact with the journalists and authors.
