Prende le mosse il Genera 2023.
Si tratta di un festival che esalta un nuovo modo di pensare e di agire personale e collettivo che racconterà la possibilità di un tipo di azione socialmente orientata, creativa, connettiva, produttiva e responsabile, capace di impattare positivamente sulle forme del produrre, dell’innovare, dell’abitare, del prendersi cura, dell’organizzare, dell’investire, immettendovi nuova vita.
Il Festival Genera 2023 comincia con un libro emblema di generatività. Si tratta dell’ultimo romanzo di Giampaolo Cassitta dal titolo evocativo “C’era una volta all’Asinara” Fratelli Frilli editori.
Il libro racconta la vita dell’ultimo fanalista sull’isola Asinara, oggi parco Nazionale. Ma non è un’autobiografia, piuttosto un grande atto d’amore verso l’isola e il faro.
La favola cammina leggera su questo grande scoglio posto quasi alla fine del mondo e scopriremo la vita di tutti gli abitanti di quel piccolo puntino di terra e di mare. Leggendo il libro si camminerà tra la seconda guerra mondiale, gli incontri con i tedeschi, gli americani, la vita quotidiana dei detenuti nel primo dopoguerra, amore e morte, felicità e speranza di un mondo ormai dimenticato.
Il libro genera un’energia virtuosa: dal mare, al silenzio, alla scoperta di un mondo incredibile che arricchirà i saperi quasi dimenticati.
Dopo oltre vent’anni Giampaolo Cassitta ritorna all’Asinara e lo fa con questa storia rigenerativa e potente e regala passaggi densi di mare e onde, di forza e di destini avversi.
Il libro sarà presentato il 12 maggio a Porto Torres nella sede del parco Nazionale, in via Ponte Romano 81, alle ore 18.30.
Con l’autore dialogherà Vittorio Gazale, direttore del Parco e Gianni Bazzoni, giornalista de “La Nuova Sardegna”. Sarà presente Gianfranco Massidda, il fanalista protagonista del libro. Sarà l’occasione per scoprire che all’Asinara sono racchiuse tutte le storie e le onde del mondo.

Genera 2023 takes off.
It is a festival that exalts a new way of thinking and acting, both personal and collective, that will tell of the possibility of a socially oriented, creative, connective, productive and responsible type of action, capable of positively impacting the forms of producing, innovating, living, caring, organising, investing, injecting new life into them.
The Genera 2023 Festival begins with a book emblematic of generativity. It is the latest novel by Giampaolo Cassitta with the evocative title ‘C’era una volta all’Asinara’ Fratelli Frilli editori.
The book recounts the life of the last light-worker on the island of Asinara, now a national park. But it is not an autobiography, rather a great act of love towards the island and the lighthouse.
The tale treads lightly on this great rock located almost at the end of the world and we will discover the lives of all the inhabitants of that small dot of land and sea. As you read the book, you will walk through the Second World War, encounters with the Germans, the Americans, the daily life of prisoners after the First World War, love and death, happiness and hope in a world now forgotten.
The book generates a virtuous energy: from the sea, to silence, to the discovery of an incredible world that will enrich almost forgotten knowledge.
After more than twenty years, Giampaolo Cassitta returns to Asinara and does so with this regenerative and powerful story, offering passages dense with sea and waves, strength and adverse destinies.
The book will be presented on 12 May in Porto Torres at the headquarters of the National Park, in Via Ponte Romano 81, at 6.30 pm.
Vittorio Gazale, director of the park, and Gianni Bazzoni, journalist from ‘La Nuova Sardegna’, will dialogue with the author. Gianfranco Massidda, the book’s leading light, will be present. It will be an opportunity to discover that all the stories and waves of the world are enclosed in Asinara.
